Let's Talk Coffee

Love the smell of coffee, but not the taste. But I do start my mornings with a non-fat/no-whip peppermint hot chocolate from Starbucks... Mmmmm, just thinking about it.

Mine, too, Amy!!! We were just out for brunch yesterday with friends and he automatically took my cup and fixed it and their jaws dropped. But I love it!

Oh, I am a coffee lover. I love it's smell and taste. I start my day, 6 in the morning, with a double Greek coffee with very little sugar,1/4 teaspoon, in it. At 11 o'clock I drink a capucinno and in summer capucinno freddo. The same at 4 in the afternoon. Always with little sugar in it. I also love the Double shot from Starbucks.

Coffee, coffee, coffee in the morning - first thing! I like Starbucks breakfast blend with 1% milk and two splendas. Yep, I like it sweet.

Count me in as another married to a sweet guy who brings me my first morning cup every morning. Actually, I think he got into the habit some 34 years ago when he realized that his bride was not exactly sweetness and light upon arising ... so he started putting a cup of coffee on my nightstand, dropping a kiss in my direction and then rapidly getting himself out of the line of fire!

We are coffee fanatics and every pot begins with fresh ground beans brewed in our Bunn coffee maker which I think I would carry with me from a burning building.

For me it's cream with a half a teaspoon of sugar. (Yeah, I know ... but I swear I NEED that half a teaspoon!)

At Starbucks my favorite is an iced Cafe Americano with an extra shot of espresso, Half-n-Half and a sprinkling of Raw Sugar. Ahhhh!

Black and STRONG!. About half a pot everymorning using Terrior Bean (mailorder), Virtuoso Grinder and Technivorm coffee maker. Then I'm done. No coffee after my morning half a pot.

Coffee....awwww. We actually roast our own!! Start out with the little green bean!! No fillers for me...I take it black and often!!

It is either black for me, but if I want something iced, I blend it myself, and will bring 2 large travel mugs with me to work - blended just with almond milk (my dd is vegan so no milk in our house) no sugar.

I've been meaning to do a page about a little ritual we have of going to Dunkin' Donuts on the week-end to pick up our coffees with skim and a tiny bag of munchkins!

Otherwise, I'll make up a pot in our French Press with Trader Joe's French Roast.

Coffee is typically a week-end thing for us. I like green tea during the week.

Fun topic Mel!

Being in hot muggy Florida, coffee isn't very appealing to me until Fall and winter. Then my hubby and I have it almost daily. Heavily altered, with flavored creams (my favorite is Pumpkin)and lots of sugar. I do love a plain esspresso though, black.

I love an occasional frappacino I usually pick something new to try. And I think next will be the green tea
