Default Let's talk 80's music

Love me some good 80's music. I had Forenza leggings and big belts. Anyone else?

Let's hear your favorites! I'm quite pleased with myself that Jake knows the words to Fish Heads, and Video Killed the Radio Star.

My Sharona and Tainted Love are the 2 that spring to mind when I think of the 80's, but My Sharona was actually 1979, and Tainted Love was a remake by Soft Cell in 1981. - Both One hit wonders
Love Shack by B52's late 80's
Never gonna give you up - Rick Astley ( in all fairness I was a Tween about then, so Rick Astley was the coolest!!! )
Heaps more that I can sing all the words to, but could never tell you the name of it

Madonna, Madonna, Madonna!!! That's my all time fav 80's music! Also loved the GoGos, Cindy Lauper, Blondie and many others! And you can't forget about hair bands -- BonJovi, Def Leppard, Boston, GunsNRoses, Journey, Aerosmith... loved it ALL!!!! I grew up in the 80's... I still know all the words to the songs! Went out last night with girlfriends and there was a cool 80's cover band playing... SO FUN!!! Gotta love flashbacks!

Yep. This was the decade my teenage years began....

legwarmers, big pink jacket with shoulderpads, Diana, I went to get my hair curled without my mom's permission and it looked ....*^#& because my hair doesn't DO curls. I also did the mismatched earrings and I had tons of bracelets up my arm.

Music?
OF course I am a Duran Duranie
Michael Jackson
INXS
Prince
Bangles
Madonnna
Bon Jovi
Hothouse Flowers
A-ha (I am Norwegian remember?)
Cyndi Lauper
U2 - JOshua Tree is one of my all time fave albums
Rick Springfield
REM
Tears for Fears
Don Henley
Queen

Now in later years I am returning to the 80s and of course I now LOVE Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and some 70s Rolling Stone and CCR. REALLY loud in the car and I am good to go.
