Last night I heard Electric Light Orchestra's Don't Bring Me Down (in that movie Super8,) and now I am all fired up to create a play-list with rockin' songs from that time period... 1975ish-1980ish. Anyone got any favorites?!!

Boy these take me back to my dancin' days too. Of course I was already a mom of 3!
One of my absolute all time favorites is "Jessica" Allman Brothers. I could listen to that all day, well maybe half a day.

I just found in iTunes they have an "essential collection" for every year. It has the top 75 songs of the year. Go to iTunes Essentials then click on the box that says '70's Year by Year. That will take you to a page that has each of the years collections. Makes shopping for the '70's tunes easy!

Lots of good stuff already mentioned, but how about Eric Carmen's, "All by myself" and almost anything by the Guess Who, like "Clap for the Wolfman". I remember my dad being super angry with my sister over the "Who's Next?" album cover. Pretty tame by today's standards.
