This is right up my alley!!! I LOVE 70's and especially 80's music!
What about: Pointer Sisters, Wham!, Billy Ocean, Kool & the Gang, Kim Wilde, Nik Kershaw, Michael Jackson, Madonna, A-ha, Gibson Brothers, Mr Mister, Ultravox, Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Rick Astley, Toto, Hot Chocolate and so much more! I could go on and on...

I also like a lot of artists/bands that have been mentioned already, especially Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac, Spandau Ballet, Tears For Fears, U2, EW&F and ELO!

I just found in iTunes they have an "essential collection" for every year. It has the top 75 songs of the year. Go to iTunes Essentials then click on the box that says '70's Year by Year. That will take you to a page that has each of the years collections. Makes shopping for the '70's tunes easy!
