Hello Katie and other DD friends,
I am so sorry because today I saw this thread. A huge thank you to all of you for your interest. I am well and ready for my son's wedding on Saturday, July 2nd. It's 2,30 am this moment here and I have just finished the packaging because tomorrow morning we travel to Agrinio, DIL's hometown, where will become the wedding. My country spends the most difficult time after the WW2. I could write pages about what really happens but it is not the place. It's a month that civilians demonstrate peacefully in front of our parliament against the austerity measures intended to save the country from defaulting on its debts. Unfortunatelly anarchists, some of them come from rich families, we call them "the known unknowns" are responsible for the riot and give the impression that the peaceful demontrators are responsible for the catastrophy. The situation will become very difficult when will start to starve. I don't want to think about it now, I am ready for my son's wedding, I won't let nothing to destroy my joy. Thank you Katie and all of you my friends for your love. Wish good luck to the young couple and to my country.

dear Maria, have a wonderful time at the wedding and try to put the troubles aside for a little while. i heard a report today on the BBC about what you said: anarchists are doing their best to turn the demonstrations into chaos. i really think that there is a global movement to take advantage of the troubles caused by the world financial situation, sew the seeds of chaos and turn western culture upside down and inside out.
