Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers. The destruction of buildings and homes and LIVES is just beyond words, but the stories of survival and so many heroes (and SUPER HEROES according to Sharon's recent post) is amazing. So many stories to be told by so many of how they survived. The help and support that has poured into this community is also beyond words and so much more is obviously still being organized to meet basic needs. Weather is still not cooperating with more rain and storms coming through.
Search and rescue continues and we wait to offer help in any small way that is needed at the moment. Many people working through churches and their businesses to coordinate help and provide assistance wherever it is needed. The needs are many, but faith and hope and gratitude are are being revealed in the smallest of deeds. Thank you again and continue to keep these families and this community in your thoughts. Felt the need to scrap an emotion and when I saw this powerful photo the message was clear. Recent DD chat spoke about using lyrics and these words speak CLEARLY for this photo. joplin, mo. -the power of faith - Digital Scrapbooking Ideas - DesignerDigitals Donna |

We are still getting reports about Joplin here on the newscasts Donna, so I am reminded of you often. So sad today to hear of more tornado trouble nearby. I'm glad you are witness to the positive response of so many to this disaster. Blessings to you and yours.

Donna, it must be very difficult for you to think of all that has happened in the Joplin area. We have seen the horror of tornados in our town two years ago and have had relatives and friends in the recent the Alabama tornados. The one is Joplin is very hard to look at on television . . . I know that you are very emotional when you see this first hand. I have prayers for Missouri and the other states with recent damage each time I see or hear of the aftermath of each storm.

As of tomorrow, we are one month out of the devastating storms in our area and as I watch the news it just seems unreal that it happened again. I'm with nana Z, praying for God's blessings on your community, Donna!

Good Morning Friend,
I continue praying--you and Joplin are never far from my thoughts. I have a dear friend who is a pastor at a church in Clever--we talk every Saturday, so once again, if you hear of specific needs or prayer requests, let me know.
