Donna, just saw horrible weather in the Joplin (Missouri) area. You don't live far from there. Are you safe?
 Please check in when you get a chance.I've heard from my son/dil in Nixa and from friends in Springfield--all ok. Looks like Joplin was hit the worst. Marnie

oh my gosh--just saw this on the news. Please check in this is devastating they are saying over 80 have died. The pictures of the hospital alone gives me chills.

Thank you, ladies, I so appreciate your concern and thoughts. We are ok here. I live just outside of Joplin and I am am in such shock and heart-ache over what I am seeing. Still trying to get a hold of some friends in the area. Phones are on overload as you would expect. Please keep this city and these families in your prayers.

Such scary bad weather yesterday. I am so sorry for the heartbreak for people in Joplin, MO. Relieved you are safe, Donna!
North Minneapolis in Minnesota was hit hard, too. One death, trees down, homes demolished, huge number of people without power, schools being used as shelters, etc.
