I am in the process of figuring out a design/theme/color story for my kids to share a bedroom. I want to pick coordinating fabrics and make duvet covers for their existing comforters. the rest will come together off of the fabric. I thought I'd come ask some of the most creative and crafty women I know if you have any ideas...I know a lot of you sew too, so maybe you've seen some things that coordinate but still give a "boyish" and "girlish" look.
![]() this is one option though I find it a tad busy....both the kids like it. Any others you all know about?

They do look really busy that close to each other but I think as duvet covers on different beds they would look fine since the colors are so similar. I would make most of the accessories in one or two of the solid colors. And if you make your own pillow cases or shams that would be a great opportunity to use the solids.
