Auckland tornado
weather channel just showed a very nasty tornado that hit Auckland with two killed... didn't know you dealt with these in NZ... hope all our friends missed this event and are safe...

No, we don't get big tornadoes here usually that's for sure! (We don't have the land mass). Apparently it was a very unusual set of weather factors. :-0
DD and I got caught out in the storm, walking to an appointment, and the tornado passed a few miles from us so we were drenched but fine. Hope any DD people on the North Shore are OK (and have still got a roof)

Glad all's well Lynn... I grew up in tornado alley in the US and moved away for many reasons but the unrelenting storms were one of the prime factors... don't miss them at all...
