I feed my dog Blue Buffalo. It's a little more pricey than the regular stuff, but it's so much more healthy, and (in my opinion) so worth it! I definitely notice the difference in her when I feed her Blue.

We feed our little sweetheart Wellness Core. Definitely more pricey, but it seems to be a little easier on her rumbly tummy.

Fenway was given Purina Pro Plan for puppies but she had "issues"... we went with a natural product for itchy skin... now her issues are IBS so she's on Prairie Nature Venison and ONLY that... even for treats... $$$ but her tummy appreciates no additives... and stability...

I've never had a puppy :-(

Youngest dog we've had is Lucky and he was 7 months when we got him. But as older dogs they only get fresh meat from us and biscuits.

Thanks. I have been doing a lot of reading and the majority says raw diet is best, cooking seems to be second best and lastly high quality dog food.

One thing to take into consideration is whether or not you will ever leave your dog. We opted out of cooking food for Quincy because we knew it would be impossible to leave her and go on vacation. I couldn't ask the doggie spa to cook for her and switching food would wreak havoc on her little system. So even though I was willing, I knew it wouldn't work for us in the long run. Just a thought.
