I'm glad you got some snow to enjoy, Sarah. Lucky you that it will all go away soon!

Yep...snow day for our Central Texas kids today!! So fun! and this one snow will be enough for this former Colorado girl. I know that the people up North are probably amazed that we get so excited about the white stuff.

One of my most favorite things in the world is to see people in the snow who never get to see it. It's fantastic, isn't it! Enjoy it Sara. :O)

It's a snow day for us, too, but NO snow. Bailey is disappointed. What we normally get here is ice, which is what we've got today---almost 1/4" on some bridges, which is devastating because it's black ice. You can't see it. I had never encountered black ice until I lived in Mississippi.

Happy snow day, Sara!

We got an inch of snow in San Antonio last night. I have lived here for 22 years and this is the first time it has ever happened. My kids were out in their jammies and coats making snow angels in the dusting on the driveway - it was so cute. After about 10 min they decided they were cold and came back in - welcome to south texas : )

I couldn't have said it better Kathie! Enjoy the snow, you can have ours too Seriously, it's nice when you are not stuck in it all the time. I would love to have it around Christmas and then it can all go away until spring arrives.

Me too, Kathie and Anke! I could go for a 40 degree day right now even! Not in sight any time soon! I can't see it warming up very fast this spring... with all the HUGE snow piles around! Though, it would flood all the rivers, etc if it did warm up fast ~ and that's not good! I'm done with the snow... want a slow, steady warm-up here in MN!

Exciting for all of you that don't normally see snow though! And nice that it doesn't stay around for long!

I seen Texas was getting snow. I am thinking the Steelers and the Packers must have brought it with them so they'd feel more at home. LOL
