Very cool! Thank you, Kelly! Happy New Year, too!

LOL I hope you have a FANTASTIC year, Phylis!

Merrilee, text mode is for PS and PSE. Here is it strictly shift+option+k. (for english keyboards apparently) Thanks, anxela.

Ok, I have no idea why it replaces it with a ? The first time I wrote this entry it was fine, then I edited and moved the apple and it became a ?. Sorry. It's fun though. :O)

Could it be that some one here is naughty and Santa may be thinking of taking more than Kodachrome away??? No one wants to lose an ?

I wonder if it's only when the? is edited ? so testing here. (eta..both of my apples seem to be visible and eta eta they both morphed into question marks when I did the first edit.)

Text mode I gather is what we are in when we write ...here.

Mine was a ? when I hit "post quick reply" . . . but . . . when I edited it with the code that Kelly gave and went to "go advanced" and clicked the apple  came up. Strange!

and two more  for the awesome tech support I got today. When the Apple Care guy figured out I had an Epson problem and not a Mac problem, he was ready with all of their phone numbers, plus one for customer service "in case someone is mean to you."

Like Mollie said, if you go to edit, retype it and click advanced, it shows up, who knows why...
