Default Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone, finally Advent and the season of anticipation is over! I hope everyone had safe travels, safe baking, and is able to enjoy time with friends and family.

And, of course, I am writing this from my brand-new Toshiba laptop! I can finally come out of my Mom-Cave in the corner of my bedroom and join the rest of the family, and scrap while hubby watches football! More importantly, my back and hip pain have gotten so bad that I cannot sit upright for more than about half an hour at a time. And that's not long enough to do anything productive! So now I can recline and work when I want to.

Merry Christmas again!

Sarah

Donna, thank you so much---it's good to know someone else has one and loves it. Hubby said he really stressed out over finding one that would be good for scrapping. A Mac is way out of our budget right now. I stipulated 4GB of RAM so that PSE and CS4 would not put me to sleep while trying to grind open (my desktop has 700-something MB of RAM). He worried about resolution and said this was the best he could find on our budget. Any laptop will take getting used to with the HD-proportion screen instead of the more square shape of my desktop monitor. I wonder if the HD widescreen will eventually impact digital scrapbooking? I can see why people would prefer to do the 11 X 8 1/2 on this kind of screen. But I'm an old dog, and you can't teach me new tricks.

Have a happy Twelve Days of Christmas!

Thats very cool Sarah. Happy scrapping in comfort. I scrap 12x12 on laptop monitor exclusively. Just have to work a bit smaller than some or scroll up and down, but its never been a bother to me, of course I dont know any different.

Merry Christmas to you

Merry Christmas to you too!

What a wonderful present, before I went to the Mac side I had Toshiba laptops and always found them very reliable.
