Default JT + me = love

I know some of you are going to think I'm crazy but I am sooooo excited. I adore James Taylor! His voice got me through so much college crap and relationshio crap and he's my go-to calming, all-is-right-with-the-world music. I saw him in concert 4 years ago and we sat in the 12th row or so and it was one of the highlights of my life. A truly once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing.

Well.........he's coming back to my little town in March and I got special 3rd row tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANNOT WAIT!!!

That is awesome. I love James Taylor. He lowers my blood pressure and makes me remember those mellow high school days.

I'm not a JT fan anymore, sorry to say. I think I overdosed on him a long time ago. But, I'm super happy for you! I love concerts and the closer to the action -the better. You'll enjoy the anticipation for the long winter months.

yep...took my baby (daughter - then 30, I think) after she divorced her yucky first husband and we sat on a blanket with a bucket of beer and heard the man sing here in the deep south. He comes almost every year but that was our only live. We ( she and I ) grew up with him. He's accompanied me for all life's big moments.....birth, death, marriage, divorce...grad school. yep, i get it.

Oh my goodness Steph, I can understand your excitement (I'm the same about Billy Joel).

We had 2 wedding dances at our wedding and one of them was "How sweet it is to be loved by you" by James. He's got such a great voice.

The thing is, that I have never really paid attention to who I liked, I have always recognized them when I heard them, but never spent much money on music-so
I googled and ahhh, yes, he was one of my favs-thanks for reminding me.

Have fun at the concert!

I am soooooooooo happy for ya, Steph! And, I will admit... a tad jealous, too! I saw him first back in the late 70s (dating myself now!)... five rows back... ahhhhhhhh, the memories...

When I'm in a mellow mood, there's nothing like James Taylor on my stereo. The music fills the house and warms me up. I'm planning to buy Live at the Troubadour with Carole King after Christmas. I happen to know Santa is refilling my iTunes account.

Congratulations Steph!

Wow! lucky you Steph! My DH is a mega JT fan so we have seen him quite a few times when he comes to Scotland and Colin has always managed to get brilliant seats. I remember my teenage years and THAT album cover with James looking very hot with his long dark hair and blue shirt...swoon! James and I have grown old together and how could anyone not LOVE someone who writes a song about a golden retriever, the man's a legend!

SWEET! Saw him in the 80's with then boyfriend who is now my hubby of 24 yrs. I'll always remember hearing "Shower the people you love with love" and they had fireworks going off at the same time.
We are going to celebrate our 25th Anniversary next December and I'm already planning a slideshow. Hubby loves to sing "Something in the way she moves". Guess what's already the songlist?
JT and Carole King were on PBS last week, great show! Enjoy Sweet Baby James. I'm so thrilled for you.
