I just finished reading Katrina's blog post About A Boy: How I Became The Photographer I Said I Wouldn't for today. Anybody else read it? I LOVE it, because I just had that conversation with my hubby. I've been laying the groundwork to really upgrade my camera and lenses and the major $$ that is involved. Just last night as I was telling him that all I really wanted to do was to take VERY GOOD, consistent pictures of our family, in my head I *know* that the creative side in me will want more... flowers and sunsets, bugs and dogs, chickens and snowfall. So although I may never be as talented as Katrina, I think I might share that desire to do more!

Yup. I read it. I still rush my shots way too much but it seems like I take forever to the family. I figure you get what you put in. And I so want to do more and get more gear and learn more...!!
