Default Sad day

Our house is so miserable today. We have just put down our 14 year old kelpie dog. She was suffering from bad arthritis and was refusing all medicine. You know it is the right thing to do but it is so difficult. She has been with us since my daughters were toddlers. Yuk, what a day.....

Oh, your beautiful kelpie! You will miss her so! Their time comes... I was 14 when our 15yo kelpie/collie cross was put down. I will never forget.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Even though it's the 'right' thing to do it is just still too painful. We had to have our 12 year old border collie put down in May and it still hurts as much today as it did then.

Carolyn, I am so sorry. Yes, it was the right thing to do, but it doesn't ease the pain. It will be a comfort to your conscience later on when you might waver, wondering if there was anything else you could have done. I know the pain of losing a dear pet, I am so sorry. There will be a lot of tears, but soon the happy memories will eclipse the one sad one.

I'm so sorry to hear about your beloved dog, Carolyn. That is such a difficult and sad decision to make, even when you know it's the right thing to do.
Hugs to you and to your family.

You know I really do feel your pain. Your hurt because you loved so much - and received that love in return. Decision like these are never easy to make. You just want to keep them forever. And even though you know it is the right thing your heart is breaking. And just at the moment your heart is breaking they are not there to comfort you. Losing a beloved pet is so hard because they were with you every day. They truly were a part of you and of your life. It hurts. It will get better. (((HUGS)))
