Urgent prayer request!!!

I just received word that my friend Curt is at the hospital in Tampa ready to get his SECOND heart transplant.

Please keep him in prayer!

He received a heart five years ago and has done marvelous. He was even riding his bike about 8 miles a day!! But it started attacking itself as I am told they do. So they put him on the transplant list again and they just got the call to get to the hospital, they have a match and will get the heart any time now.

I told him I would get prayer going for him!!!

Again. Thank you so, so much. I don't know what I would have done without all of you these past two weeks!

BTW, DGD is doing great!!! Thank you. Thank you!!!

Thanks everyone!! I just talked to his wife. He had surgery thei morning at 6. The night was used for preping, filling him with antibiotics, shaving the entire body, etc.

At noon the surgeon came and told her it went beautifully. There could not have been a better heart match for him. There was minimum blood loss. All went very well.

They thank you for your prayers.

She got to see him and he was awake already. They actually came and sedated him more because they said it is too soon. They want him totally out for longer. They could not believe that last time he was off the respirator in only 6 hours!! It actually was a hospital record!!

So now we hope for no rejection. Thanks again for all your prayers and concerns. I know they would appreciate keeping him in prayer.!!! You guys are fantastic!!! (((((HUGS))))) from me and them too!!!
