Default In Need of Some Arizona Lovin...

Hey Ladies, I have to go away to training on the 2nd and I'll be in Tempe...it is the first time I will be away from my DD more than a night so I'm FREAKING OUT just a little bit. I seem to be the only mom I know that wouldn't kill for a "week off." Maybe some of you moms will understand my sadness! Well, I'm trying to focus on the positive and I intend to pour myself into workouts, a photography book and scrappin...but if somebody is near by and wanted to go for a photo walk...that would be great too! I used to live in Phoenix and remember how gorgeous it is there, but I'd probably be too afraid to venture far from my hotel room by myself! You know, those things are always easier with a stranger! lol! I guess I just don't see anyone at this site as a stranger.

Darn-too bad your business isnt bringing you to Vegas!! Although you could probably walk around the ASU campus in relative safety and get some great shots of the campus

Despite the current political climate in AZ, Tempe is just fine. There's a lot to see just walking up and down the main drag plus there are some outstanding architectural buildings/shots on campus. Eastcoaster that I am, I went wild just seeing the citrus trees! Surely you can find a buddy at training to walk round with you and 'humor' you!

I'm sad! I'm booked up for the next couple of weeks, or I would love to join you for a photo walk. Things are fine in AZ. I always feel safe when I'm out and about by myself. So many great things to see in Tempe and actually Mesa, Gilbert, and Scottsdale are great cities for photos as well. May I recommend a trip to Scottsdale for some Sprinkles Cupcakes...yummy!

Is the Cereal Bar "Cereality" still open on the Tempe University campus? That is one of my "road trip" destinations - that might be a fun excursion - if you like quirky, weird things...

Oh, I saw the Cereality on the Food Network...I'm so excited! And did somebody say cupcakes? Do they deliver??? I didn't even think to make a buddy in class! I will get over panic mode soon and I'm sure I'll start thinking straight! Thanks for the support!

I'm laughing, because at first I thought you were freaking out at being away from DD (as in Designer Digitals) for a week... and it didn't even phase me! I get the shakes when I'm away But then I realized it was DD (as in dear daughter!) Silly me

Have fun!

lol, I guess it is easy to get DD and dd confused since I made the typo! I think if I had to do without DD and dd it would quite frankly be the end of the world for me. I at least have to have one going on at any given time!
