He has always struggled in school, never liked it. He always felt 'less than' because he didn't get good grades and this year in the mid term of grade twelve he pulls honors in English (shocking) and his options so he gets to go to the honors breakfast!!! Our mouths are gaping open at this feat he has pulled off, lol. Now if he gets accepted to college this fall we will be in Heaven!!

That is so awesome! It is such a great feeling to see our kids accomplish something that they thought was impossible and to see their confidence soar. You have had lots of reasons to celebrate lately, I think dinner & a movie should be on the list this weekend! (congrats on your creative team requests)

thank you, it has been a great week. My hubby and I joke that I am graduating too this year, as I have helped him so much,not with the work necessarily but with being his teacher and cheerleader. He has had such a horrible time until grade 11 really when he found a wonderful group of friends. We are both just glad its over and hopefully he can get into the theater tech program at college and start a new path. I cannot wait til he gets home today to see that smile!
