I mostly use it to keep track with my family all over the country and scrapbook friends who are no long on 2Peas or here....

I don't get sucked into games as my time is very limited and I would much rather scrap, browse galleries or blogs , check in here and sleep.....

I never did nor will I ever do the games, so there is not much to get addicted to for me My addiction is right here, I spend way too many hours on this site but I am loving every minute of it! I am so rarely on FB, it's not even funny...
good for you though, you will be able to spend some more quality time with your family

I didn't do a single game - it was the constant emails, updates and messages. I just couldn't let an email go unchecked.

In the beginning of my FB start I was there allt he time chekcing updates. Now it can go days before I remember to log on.

I think what made me loose the interest is the games like Farmville, Mafia Wars and seeing peoples status on this all the time.

It is a great thing to keep a look on what is going on with old friends, and I have reconnected with so many of my American friends I lost contact with when going back home. And it is a way for me to keep a little look at how my DD is on FB - checking photos of her - once in a while so they are not degrading somehow.

Wow Heidi, I am just like you were, checking my FB dozens of times a day (and night), I just cannot NOT check it, I nearly closed my account 2 weeks ago, but couldnt press the button... My problem is, most of my family live in the UK, so good to see recent photos of our HUGE family when they get together, it was through FB that we noticed my husbands mother (who is 89 this year) looking very frail, so we decided to go back home to the UK for 6 weeks, we leave on May 9th, so getting pretty excited now, just as long as the Volcano in Iceland does'nt cause anymore probs for us.. maybe I will cancel FB once we get back, (don't hold your breath though)...

DD seems to be my FB as well. I spend way more time here - all of the pages here are actually meaningful - I don't really care that my some of my FB friends just did this or that - they update their status every five seconds it seems and that is so annoying. I too do not check my FB unless I really need to get in touch with someone. Good or your decision! You'll have a lot more free time for scrapping and we can see your beautiful work!
