Default Prayer Request

I just got word that our granddaughter is in the ER. She has had stomach pain for a while.

DD took her a while back and they did heart test and blood test etc and said everything was OK.

Today she took her to a walk in clinic and the doctor said everything seemed fine, thought maybe it was endometriosis, but thought nothing need done at this point.

But the pain continued so they took her to the ER.

They have her on morphine drip and are doing at CAT at 7:10.

Please keep them all in prayer. She is 12.

They think it could be gall bladder or liver related.

Thanks a million!!

Oh, how frightening. Stomach/abdominal pain is so unbearable. Will be praying for her. I hope it's something "simple" like the gallbladder and not her liver!

prayers going her way. hope things go well for her. hang in there. it's such a worry when it's our young ones that are having troubles. it's much easier to bear when the trouble is our own.

My thoughts go out to your granddaughter. My nephew has 'short gut syndrome' -- basically his intestines were knotted and had to be surgically removed. It started out with severe abdominal pain -- maybe this is something they will look into. I wish you all the best...

My friends, thank you so, so much for your prayers and concerns.

Nancy called and said that Siana has a bladder infection and an inflamed liver, neither life threatening. I am not thrilled with the liver bit, but they said it is no big concern. They have sent out a panel to see if it is hepatitis and she is to call Siana's doctor in the morning.

The back pain was from the bladder and the front pain from the liver. So much for the non-concern at the walk-in clinic. Glad she pursued it more.

Poor dear. She has been at the ER since before 5 and called me about 9:45 and they were just leaving for home. She is exhausted. Then she tells me that DH is agitated because they need to get home...they live about 4 mins from the hospital, because it is late and he has to get to bed. (He gets up early for work.) LOL I think he needs to get a grip! She doesn't need this on top of all this today!

So I do ask for your continued prayers as this progresses. But from all we hear, she should be looking forward to feeling better.

Thank you so much. It means so much to be a part of a group like you all. The first people I thought of were you. I couldn't get to the computer fast enough.

God bless each of you. It is truly privilege to have you as friends.

Barb, I was reading this thinking "appendicitis" the entire time (my niece had it a few years back), and was relieved at your first update, then came the second update. Life sure throws us curve balls.

I hope she is doing well and is in good care. And, most of all, I sure hope her DH got his beauty rest.
