thanks so much! We did indeed end up telling Chloe the truth and although she didn't understand the dying part she did understand that Heidi is not coming home again. She seemed ok on Wednesday but the following day woke up crying and continued to cry for heidi for about an hour (she dreamt of her). She says she misses her every now and again, but is ok. The truth is just always best in the end.

Oh that's so sad that she woke up crying for her :-( It's so hard on both little and big kids when you lose a member of the family like that.
