Miracle Child
My husband says Bekah is truly a miracle child. The one doctor was sure she was dying Friday night and her parents prepared themselves for that. Hard but they have certainly been willing to face the worst but be grateful for each day she's had. After several surgeries, he is now amazed at how strong she is and I KNOW the community of people who have placed her in their hearts has helped immensely.
Her little brother rode down to Tucson with Dick and while Michael slept a lot of the way, he woke up as they were getting near, and recognized that the hospital was nearby. Kinda sad but sweet to know HE knows where his sister is. Today the staff is going to prepare him for all the machines and explain why she can't play with him. Bekah is under heavy sedation and has been given paralysis drugs so she can heal more quickly. My heartfelt thanks to all of you. Maureen
