Default Snow, snow and more snow

Baltimore, MD is now #1 on the Top Ten Snowiest places in the US chart for this year. As of today they have gotten 79.9 inches whereas the norm for them is 11 inches! (Thanks guys we were #7 yesterday and now we are #13.) :O)

Here's a little something that I hope makes you smile.

Here is a link to the top ten chart also.

We have had a pretty mild winter... I was surprised to see Ft. Collins CO... They don't seem to get as much as the southern metro area of Denver????

It has been insanely snowy and cold this year! Even here in IN it's been bad. I am getting quite tired of it

And to think they are air-lifting it in for the olympics.

what I am wondering is how much of that 79.9" came in the last week?

Randy, we still have all we need. I do feel bad that we can't ship you our road crews, though.

We're in at 39. Definitely glad not to be near the top of that list.

I feel bad for my parents, they haven't left their house in almost a week and a half. They shovel for about an hour at a time, then take a long break. My mom is looking forward to the Olympics starting, funny how they've had to ship snow in for the Olympics!

We are getting snow here in northern Louisiana! It snowed this afternoon, then stopped and melted. Then it started again this evening, and it's starting to stick. The kids are so excited, they can't stand it!

It's been a long, hard winter here so far, we have snow totals over 170 inches, and still have six weeks or more to go. I am so ready for spring!

Today I was waiting for the icicles from our roof (lower split level one) to meet the snow from top of our barbecue out back, they just shook hands when dh opened the window and knocked them all down before I could get a picture.

The snow is so high we can't open the doors. Thank goodness we have an attached garage to get out to shovel the driveway, not that we can go anywhere! It is pretty out back though.

That video was hilarious Kelly, thanks for the link and laugh. That was a surprise to be #1 on the Top Ten Snowiest places. I'm not very far from BWI where the measurements were taken. Everything outside looks like little white mounds.

Looks like all of Akron, Ohio's, 43 inches is still in my front yard! Perfect day for winter riding, though.

and driving it in from 2 hours inland!

We don't get a ton of snow here but the rain and gloomy days make me go loony in Vancouver. It can go weeks here where we don't see the sun. At least with the snow you get those glorious sunny days.

That is the funniest video clip . . . I've looked at it twice and I'm still chuckling over it. Thanks for the morning smile to go with my 1/2 inch of morning snow.

Kelly . . . I'm sort of glad that the south doesn't make the top ten!
