Talking I'm getting a Mac!!!

Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh!!! I am SO excited!
My DH, who doesn't like computers, technology, or spending money, took me out yesterday and brought me in iMac 21.5"!!! I never thought this would happen to me!!
I've always been a pc girl, but I've always said 'one day I'd love a mac!' But with having 2 or more pc's in the house it was always just easier and cheaper to keep upgrading pc's. But completely out of the blue DH said it's time for me to get one. Financially it's not the best timing, but hey, I said yes!!! (before he changed his mind).
It arrives tomorrow!! ...... (oh my gosh .......)

so happy for you! You are going to love it!!

I have 4 PC's in the house---two laptops and two desktops. The desktops are for work. Then I have my beloved MAC for me and scrapping. Today both PC laptops were infected with some horrible Trojan and they are now in the shop! I wish I could convert all of the puters in this house to MAC.

Donna, great news! Have fun getting acquainted with your new Mac. The more you try it out the more familiar it will become and I think you're going to love it!

Congratulations!! You are going to love it! I just got mine in December and it is a little odd at first but keep at it and it becomes familiar quickly. I would highly recommend the book that Mel recommends PC to Mac: The Missing Manual. I didn't read it cover to cover just a section at a time when I needed to do something new. Enjoy DonnaNJ

I went from a PC to a mac around Thanksgiving. I am pretty used to it now . . . I did whine a little though . . . the hardest thing for me was the little "exit X" is on the top left rather than the PC way of the top right. A little thing for sure, but it gave me fits . . . so hope your adjustment is only with a few little things too!
