Default *SNOW, snow, snow

Oh my goodness the kids are running around screaming and we havent even had the cold front hit us. Just the thought of snow has them so excited... I am letting them have a snow day tomorrow in HOPES we actually get some snow, since it wont stick it will have to be a "quick" run outside while we play in the flurries!
for those who have already had snow and lots of it and those who are dreading the long winter, I know you are not excited to read this, but we dont get snow, and my kids missed the flurry-fall last year because they were in school and I was sitting in the carpool line wishing the school doors would fly open so the kids could run and enjoy, but no - by the time school got out the good heavy flurries were gone for the winter.. we are excited!!! and crossing our fingers we dont have to drive in the icey conditions to find the snow if it stops just north of us!

We're supposed to have snow all day tomorrow here in Louisiana. We haven't had snow that stuck as long as we've been here---almost 8 years. The kids at my school are excited, too! Crossing our fingers for you. I know the Dallas area gets snow and ice sometimes, too---last year our symphony conductor had a hard time getting over here from Dallas a few times over the winter.

I am excited for you!! and although each year we average over 200 inches, we have had a very slow start this year and just started getting snow this week...and I have to admit I have missed it - it just doesn't feel like Christmastime to me without SNOW!!

I hope they get to play in lots of snow : )

WE are supposed to get snow tomorrow---all the way down in South Texas. Kids here are excited. My kid won't be excited when I tell him he can't go "cruising" tomorrow night. that's all we need---inexperienced 17 year olds out on the road.

BTW--the last time we had snow was 5 years ago on Christmas Eve. It was the first snow in over 100 years.

I'm right there with you, Sarah! Lydia's having a hard time going to sleep tonight because she keeps looking out the window to see if it's snowing yet. I sure hope we're not disappointed (as a girl who grew up in Colorado, I can hardly believe I just typed that!! LOL!)

We had record high temps here in MA today - 69degrees! The cold front is heading this way but I did enjoy our little reprieve!

Wow, snow in Texas and hardly any in the U P of Michigan?? I lived in upper Michigan when I was a kid and we always had loads of snow at Christmas - as in past the first floor windows! Now I'm in Florida (family is actually originally from Florida) and a brisk morning or two is all we get. Although we did have an ice storm in 1989 that shut the entire city down, kind of fun, but kind of scary...

And here down under, in Perth, we had blue, blue skies and our first 37degree day for the Summer (that's about 98degrees farenheit)!

I'm sitting here in jeans and a t-shirt, windows are wide open and it's a lovely day.

For you who want snow, I'll send it your way, just email me your addy's and I'll ship it right over. LOL If only it was that easy, I'm not a fan of cold weather, I'd rather be in a sunny warm spot, so I'm not loving are snow.

Here in Florida, I'm just glad we've got a bit of cool weather. We had two gray, rainy days, but it's nice and brisk this morning. By Tuesday, though, I think we're supposed to be back to 78 degrees.
