Default Who wants to read a good book next?

I've just finished reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, so would like to pass it on to the next person who wants to read it.

It's Kathryn (kmartorina)'s copy, which Linda (Earlofoxford) sent on to me, and it's a very interesting book. I read over half of it the first time I opened it, and it taught me a lot too.

Just let me know.

No-one want to read it next? I think there were a couple of people on the last thread who expressed an interest, so if no-one mentions it here, I'll ask them.

It's all based just after World War II, I hadn't realised that Guernsey had been occupied during the war. I love the style in which it's written.

It really is a great book, maybe everyone's read it already lol.

It's such a sweet gesture Chrissy. I already purchased a copy with some other books, though I haven't got to reading it yet.

I watched Masterpiece Theater's, Island at War a few years ago about Guernsey during the Nazi occupation. I remember the bombing in London well, but it must have been even more terrifying for them with the Nazi's breathing down their neck. Now you have me reaching for the book!

Chrissy, that is so appreciated. I already downloaded that from Audible at Mollie's suggestion. But I love your idea of passing books along.
