sigh, i am not doing creative stuff, unless its coloring with my Chloe. i am spending the latter half of my day taking care of my mom. She fell on Friday night and is feeling very sore and is pretty much immobile for a bit. I think she cracked a rib, still waiting for doctor's report. She is a tough lady, been through so so much this year since may ( story begins here on my blog In The Best World: May 2009). Its hard to see her dependant on everyone. Hope you guys are having a better day

sorry to hear about your mom
I'm not doing much creative today either as my computer is still being held hostage at the Mac Store, waiting for a new hard drive. I'm finishing a file cabinet reorganization today and should get to the grocery store...big excitement! I have two weeks of maternity left, so I'm trying to make the most of it...

Sarah... hope the rest gets you back on your feet soon! Heather, so sorry to hear about your mom... but it sounds like she is one tough cookie!

today as the rest of the week I and the kids have been haning around in bed or the couch, DD got H1N1, if DS and I have got it I am not sure as we have other symptoms. But sick we are the lot of us. Wonderful that DH is feeling well and can provide us with suppers as I are not able to anything without getting dizzy. A few minutes at the computer is waht I allow myself now and then.

Well, like everyday, I am at work and reading the posts...this is almost kind of sad, but I halfway wish I would get the flu so I could stay home for a week.

So sorry to hear about your Mum heather. Hope she makes a quick recovery. My mother broke her foot recently and it is taking forver to hell. She's very independent too and she hates it! Hope you have a nice day anyway with Chloe and her :-)
Once I get the girls off to school I'll be designing today. |

Sorry about your mom Heather, I will keep her in my prayers and I hope she is better soon. I spent the morning working on the budget and some building projections for our humane society...I am heading out to treat myself to a latte and hope to come home a scrap a bit!! Have fun coloring with Chloe and knowing that you are making your mom's day a bit better

Heather, I spent a lot of time viewing your blog, looking at all your beautiful paper layouts and reading about your mom. Those of us who have daughters like you are blessed (I have two). The concern and care you've given her since May, shows so much love from you. I'll be saying a prayer and thinking about her as she gets stronger by the day.
I'm also trying to do the finishing touches to all these layouts I have hanging around my desktop so I can upload to the gallery. I haven't done that in a while. |

Hi Heather. I'm new here. And your post was the first one I saw so I'm responding. First, I'm sorry to hear about your mother's fall. It's hard for both of you. Hopefully you and your mom have a good relationship and a good sense of humor so you and she can get through the situation with success. I wish her well.
I have no experience in digital scrapbooking or PSE. But I downloaded a tutorial called "A Matte Finish." I figured between that and my new PSE6 For Dummies book I should be able to muddle through. Well, I finished the project page late last night. It was an experience! But my main problem seems to be with PSE (I won't even go into the digital scrapbooking aspect yet). I don't seem to be able to complete a successful edit in PSE. I save what I've done along the way and at the end but when I go to the Organizer to view my edited photo or try to Share my finished page as an e-mail attachment, I get a red transparent bar with the words "edit in progress" and a yellow lock icon over my edited photo or project page. How do I finalize my edit so I no longer see that icon over it? If anyone here has an answer, I'd really appreciate it. |

Heather, so sorry to hear about your mother. I've had a cracked rib before, and they are no picnic. Hope she recovers soon!
Sarah and Vigdis, doesn't sound like much fun! Hope all of you all are back on your feet and in the pink soon! Linda, welcome to DD!! Glad to have you as part of the community! I use PS not PSE so I'm afraid I don't know how to solve your particular issue. But might I suggest that you repost your question in the General Digital Talk section of the community board. People might skip over it here since they may read only the first few posts. If you repost there, I'm SURE you will get an answer!! ;-) Again, welcome!!
