Default I love the Roomba

Which is a robot vacuum cleaner. Just had a major dust and pick up in my son's room in preparation for him coming home from two months in Morocco, then left the roomba to thoroughly collect all the bits that had landed on the floor after I'd done. I've had a great half hour on the laptop while feeling virtuous that I'm still getting his room ready for next weekend!
It also makes me feel good when it cleans when I'm at work!

After sweeping several times yesterday, I can completely understand how much fun it must be to not have to do this chore! How great!

Sounds like you are a very smart gal! I know that you will love seeing your son and that he will be thrilled to be back home again . . . and to a dust free room.

I love that you made such good use of your "free" half hour.

The Roomba looked very smart when on TV's "Flipping out" but Jeff's housekeeper hated it. I think she felt her job being threatened!

I have been thinking about getting one but wasn't sure if they would be all they promised. I'm so glad to here that they work! Onto my Christmas list it goes!

I have had one for about a year and having 3 dogs made it the best thing I ever had. I came home to clean floors every day etc. For those with children though not sure how it would be as the floors need to be fairly clutter free for it to do a good job.

So, I've been looking into them and it looks like there are three sizes, which one do you have? I need one!

I just bought one but took it back. After reading some reviews on Amazon and Costco... seems as though the brushes on the side have a tendency to break off. There were many comments about the need to keep it very clean and I know my son would not do that... it was for him. I'm anxious for more comments as I just might change my mind... again. Maybe I should just get it for me

We used ours often until we had kids - now I can't keep the toys off of the floor so our poor Roomba has been sitting in the corner for awhile.

I have the pet one...which means it has a bigger size for collection etc. and yes, you do need to clean them out every day etc. (they do not do it all! Lol) but again...I have had it for a year and my only thing is that it does not make it back to home base but maybe 30% of the time..but not a problem for me as I find it, empty it and return home, so much easier than vacuuming!!

I'd be worried the dogs would attack it!
