Default Quilting?

Hi ladies,
Well I want to start another quilt this year. Its been more than 5 years since I did a quilt. Anyways, I saw somewhere in the internet world a quilt with jeans. The jeans are sewed outward instead of them being inward. and then the jean at the end is fraded out. so it looks messy.
I have been looking all over the computer world and I cannot find it anywhere? I was hoping someone would know where I could look?
Thank You, Cheryl

as far as i know, you cut squares on the grain line.
layer with your backing fabric and a piece of batting cut 1" smaller in length and with. (make a sandwich with the three pieces centered, so 1/2 inch all the way around is just your denim and backing). sew around each square, using a 1/2 inch seam.
sew the squares together, jeans side out, with a 1/2 inch seam. sew into rows first, then sew the rows together.
clip the seams every 1/2 inch.

wash several times until they fray. (note: househould dryers can't handle the lint volume without becoming a fire hazard. so either use a commercial laundry, or clean your lint trap in your home dryer very frequently.)

Mary, thank you for the link. Its almost like the second link. The jeans are cut up squares and the the squares are alot smaller. But its real close to what I saw online. Janice I will save the instructions for what you posted. And give it a try. Im planning on starting it after Thanksgiving....(fingers crossed)
Janice, love the quilts you made!!! Beautiful work!!! Im sending you a PM
