Ironing sucks!!!

I ironed my bathrobe tie this week--it was bugging me! Growing up, we learned to iron but we also had an 'ironing lady' (Mrs. Doyle) who came to our house picked up clean clothes and brought them back ironed! Those were the days!

I still have an ironing lady that does this. Tuesday morning clean clothes are left on my doorstep and that afternoon are back all ironed. And the cost is just $14 for the basket including pickup and delivery. This is my one indulgence. (Well I get someone to mow the lawns also.)

I have no idea what you are talking about.

I only iron when I sew-- which is never, nowadays. You can't construct a garment without sewing after sewing every seam. That is the last time any of my clothes ever saw an iron.
