It snowed today
our first snow of the season. Its pretty, but the long dreaded winter has begun. I have resolved to try to be more positive about it this year though, to embrace it and play in it more than last year (although last year it was too cold for too long to enjoy it). Today its a coffee day, and playdough and painting. Then its off to buy winter boots and have some backyard playtime. Then i will finish up a couple of layouts that are sitting on computer waiting for journaling. Oh, i have decided to switch from PSE6 to PSCS4 (at least i think that is what my hubby uses on his computer).What's your day going to involve?

And so it begins!
 My mom just texted me from Colorado to say that it's snowing there, too. Not so here in Central Texas. It's supposed to hit 85 today, but storms are headed our way this evening and it's supposed to be raining and a high of 65 tomorrow. It's a house cleaning, kid transporting, soccer practice, busy evening sort of day here!

We're supposed to hit new record highs for this time of year -- into the 90s. Come on! I know this is Florida, but 90 in October -- sheesh! I have some errands to run, and I haven't walked on the treadmill yet, so I need to do that. Ugh!

great weather here today and tomorrow, and on Saturday the rain and cooler temps set in. we'll be in the 50s and low 60s next week, slightly cool for here in October.
my MIL and FIL are here visiting through the weekend, and we're doing dinner out for their birthdays (both this week), fall baseball game for one of the boys, and just hanging together.

We have flurries... started out as rain... but I see white stuff flying around. No accumulation so right now it is just pretty =)

We got some a couple of weeks ago too..near the mts. Its going to be a very cold year!!! Bundle up!

S.N.O.W.---is that a word? It is in the high 90's today. A cold front is supposed to come around this weekend and push the temp to to the low 80's. I'm afraid we don't know much about that white stuff called snow. Brrrr....

ugh. its only pretty for a month or so, then when it dips down to -25C it is darned ugly!!
