Default Our Ginger passed away :(

I've shared a lot of pictures and pages of our beloved dog, Ginger so I wanted to post and let everyone know that she passed away Thursday night. She had been in an accident a few weeks before and had continued complications. She died in surgery for a diaphragmatic hernia. We are SO heartbroken and shocked. I still can't believe she is gone. She was only 2 years old and she was so loved

We'll be getting a new puppy soon. I wouldn't have jumped back in so quickly, but I was talking with the breeder that we got her from and Ginger's mother had just had her last litter. The pups are already 4 months old, so they're a little bigger but knowing they are related to Ginger is really special.

To anyone else who has lost a pet like this, my heart goes out to you too because this is TOUGH!

Oh Stacy... my heart is breaking for all of you. We love our pups. Your Ginger pages have been so special but I'll be looking forward to photos of a new journey with another special pal.

Oh, Stacy, I am so sorry! It is very tough and the hardest days are the first weeks. I looked at some of your ginger layouts. Scrapping is such therapy especially for our beautiful pets. What a cutie! And just a lovely girl. ((HUGS))

I am so sorry for your loss of your dog. Pets are such a source of joy and laughter in our lives and there is such a pain in our hearts when we lose them. Glad the timing has worked out for you to get another puppy. The fact the new pup is related to Ginger will let you feel like you still have a little piece of Ginger with you.

Stacy, so sorry that this has happened and for everything you have gone through in the last couple weeks. I hope the kids are handling it OK. I am glad to hear that you have the opportunity to take a sister of Ginger's into your family... can't wait to see pics!

Stacy, I am so sorry. Losing a pet is sooooo hard. Losing a young pet in my mind is really really hard. When we lost Coal at 7 months I thought my heart was going to break in two. I totally understand your pain. Colt joined our family less than a month after we lost Coal. He was a huge comfort and we continue to be blessed with his happy go lucky outlook on life. Sending you lots of hugs.

Even though I know losing Ginger has been so hard on you and your sons, it must be comforting to know that your new puppy is related to Ginger. Hope this new bundle of fur can help ease the pain, and I'm looking forward to seeing pics.

This is so sad reading your post. Nothing replaces an animal you lost, but getting another can help ease the heartache. So sorry about Ginger.

Stacy. What a roller coaster you and your family have been on. NOw, getting a new 4month old pup who is a Ginger bit.... how restorative. One thing I know, children can show you the way to new love and moving on to new relationships. Follow your boys.

I am so sorry to hear this. It must be hard... They do become such a part of the family don't they? But how special to get a new puppy from Ginger's family. I wish you all the best of luck.

Oh, Stacy, I dumbstruck! You know how much I loved your pup!! She was such a unique animal, and so beautiful in her uniqueness! I know this is a complete shock to your family. We had something similar happen to a pup we found, and just couldn't believe the call from the vet's office. I'm glad that the opportunity to get another pup from Ginger's mother arose. Know my heart breaks for you all ...

Pax, Ginger.

Peace,

oh, I wish you all strength. It is a great loss. I know how hard it is to go through, I've had to do that several times and it is always bad. But such a young sweet dog...that's so tragic. My heart goes out to you. I think it is special to have a puppy so much related to Ginger. A big hug for you all.

What a sad time for your family, I hope the new pet will fill some of the void your lovely Ginger left. It always helped our family to get another pet right away, even though the previous one was still missed. Hugs to all of you!
