Bekah and family have had some rough days with blood infections and a lot of time back in the hospital. Now that Rich and little Michael are back in school, it's Sharlah who's spending the nights with Bekah when she goes in. They had switched places over the weekends but it's a whole lotta juggling and a whole lotta worry.

There is a funny post up on CaringBridge / prayersforbekah / Welcome tho you can tell by the IV info that her treatement is also being upped. I'm glad to hear that Sharlah is still able to find humor in what all little boys usually get up to ....eventually.

More prayers and good energy please. Cards/postcards are always fun especially from places she's never been. You could send them to the hospital (the address is on the link) or to her at home if you like.

hi Maureen, I am continuing to pray that she gets healthy & stays strong! I'd love to send her a card. Can you remind me how old she is? Does she like a particular character, like Dora, Barney, etc?

Thank Jennifer. Sharlah just sent me an email to say "Bekah absolutely loves hello kitty. Thats her favorite everything. She loves petshop too."

Sounds like they had a good weekend - home! - and there's a nice pic of the two children.

Maureen, I wanted to let you know that I have a card & a small toy (Hello Kitty & a Pet Shop) from Target to send to Bekah. I hope that's OK! I will wipe off the boxes & spray them with Lysol before I pack them.

I wanted to PM you about this but my PM feature is not working right now so I figured I'd post it here. I have been following Bekah's progress every time you write about it and I am praying & hoping for a speedy recovery for her.
