Default Cracked patella (knee cap) for my madison

that is the cause of our set back I spoke about. The crack (fracture) was not there when we had a check up in early June. The good news is that it is already healing and you can see the new bone growth filling in the crack on the xrays. My sweet girl - no wonder she was uphappy, in pain and didn't want to bend that right knee...they aren't sure of the cause, but the screw used during surgery to reposition the knee may have been too close to the surface, we had a different surgeon on each side.

otherwise everything else looked good and she gained back 5 of the 10 pounds she lost!!

glad to be back home and we don't have another follow up appointment until early December : )
