Bekah back in the hospital

The news doesn't get good out in AZ as Bekah is back in the hospital for at least a week as they start treatment with injections into her chest. She has been weepy and down and even at her little age must know this is serious. The July 23 post describes her treatment. CaringBridge / prayersforbekah / Welcome

If any of you would like to send her a card I think she would love to get mail. We sent her my old Mac which she was enjoying but since she's not at home she can't do email right now.

I love the sign behind you in your avatar. I know it is so difficult to do sometimes and your family is having a great deal to "carry through" lately. Thank you all for your prayers and pms. I have thought that any mail that comes to her is going to be such a surprise that it will give her something to look forward to each day. I think now it is my husband who is having the harder time as it's His son's daughter and it certainly puts him in a position of powerlessness that most men don't like. He's great at long range plans and fixing issues, but this is one that's out of his hands. He's doing lots of bike rides, and I'm doing a lot of digital classes and live art classes. We both have healthy tools to help cope with the sadness and the frustration.

It's another reminder to tell someone you love them ...right now. How easy that one is to forget, isn't it. Hugs to all..Maureen

Maureen-is she in Phoenix Children's Hospital? I'm taking my son there today for his off chemo cancer scans and would love to drop by some balloons or something if that would be ok. Let me know what room she is in if that is indeed the hospital she is at.

Jamie, she is home right now but I think that is where she goes. I'll have to email Sharlah. Somehow, my dh keeps forgetting to ask which hospital when he talks to his son.
