I can't help you with the picture, but I can tell you I have wished for a picture of the Chatty Cathy doll I had as a young girl!

Oh, I'm sorry, my DD has a brown-eyed, brown-haired Cabbage Patch doll, the one I stood in line for four hours to buy when they came out!
Surely someone will have one somewhere . . . my doll's name was Yvonne Zara . . . I always disliked that name, but since it was on the "adoption certificate," there wasn't anything I could do about it! Hope someone can help you.

My DD had a baby cabbage patch doll which (devastatingly) got left behind in a mall. She never wanted another one. I have the adoption certificate somewhere but I can't remember her name at this moment. She never quite got heavily into barbie and hated (thank goodness) bratz dolls. But the cabbage patch dolls were always my favourites for her.

Sorry I can't help with the doll, but have you checked on Ebay? There might be one for sale there with a picture. You never know; the seller might be a compassionate person & might send you a pic for free even if you don't want to buy one!
I'd also try googling the name and see if any useable pics come up. Good luck and I hope you find a pic of the special doll!

Good luck! Sorry, I finally gave mine away to the Salvation Army right before they became popular again. I even had an adopted, adopted one that was like the one you had.. it had been my sister's but she had me permanently babysit it for her one day.
You could try contacting cabbagepatchkids.com if noone has a photo for you and let them know what you are doing and what you would like. If you check their 25th anniversary (has it really been that long, oiy!) collection, you might a photo of what you are looking for and they might give you permission to use it for your personal book. My first one was Charlene Genevier. I am trying to remember if that was her original name or if that was the name that I had it changed to. You could send in the adoption certificate with a request for name change and get a new certificate back. I think I changed her middle name because I could never say or spell it as a kid. And since you admitted that, I guess I can admit that if we ever are lucky enough to have a daughter ourselves, we have her name picked out & it is based off of my husband and my World of Warcraft toons... Khatlyn Belle. So if you find a support group, think we need to join.

sorry I can't help with a picture but the story is just too cute! Did you do a google image search? I sometimes have luck with that when I need something specific. My kids never were into those dolls.

I think my mother still has some of my Cabbage Patch dolls - she kept them for the grandkids to play with. I know I had a bald, blue-eyed preemie (?) doll. . . it was a boy, but I also had a girl one that size. So if the clothes for the girl (I think it was a nightgown) are still around AND the actual doll is still around, I could definitely send it to you. Let me know if you're interested and I'll have my mom do a quick survey at her house to see if she still has all this.
