Update again :)
Just a short one to let you all know that everything went great! They did 5 grafts and fixed the valve and he will be good as new. He still has quite a bit of pain but every day gets better. They made him walk a little bit the first day after the surgery, incredible! Today it was a lot easier already, albeit still painful. They also gave him a different drug with the Percocet and that seems to do the trick. At least he can get a breath in now.
thank you all for all your prayer and well wishes, it sure helped!!! tomorrow he will go to a regular room and they are supposed to take the chest tube out, which should make him a little more comfortable Just wanted to let you all know thanks again anke
