latest on Carey
It's all good news today..he is off the ventilator and on a CPAP mask. His feeding tube was moved to go directly into his stomach..hopefully he wont be needing that much longer! he knows everyone and spoke to Brooke, his daughter. She told him that she is postponing her wedding until he can walk her down the isle so in a sense that is an answer to our prayers. He's not totally out of the woods yet, still has a fever and now some digestive "problems" but after just liquids in a tube and all that medication he's gotten, it's no wonder. His first words were "I love you" to Brooke when she told him her plans to postpone the wedding. So we pray for patience during what is said will be a long process and are thankful for all the prayers and answers received. It means so much that you all cared. I posted a page with his photo so you can see who you've been praying for!

Hi Vicky, that is wonderful news. I hope he will recover full and quick. It was so touching when I read that Brooke postponed the wedding because she wanted to walk with Carey to the isle. I hope she can do that with him soon. I wish you all the best.

I'm just so happy to get this good news update, Vicki. It must have been so scary for awhile. Thank goodness for modern medicine. I pray every day he gets stronger and stronger.
