stupid facebook changes...

alright, somebody tell me, I cant click on my friends anymore and see their updates all in a list. now I seem to have to click thro everyone one by one.. omgosh thats annoying. can I get updates by doing something differently?

Yep - mine too Mel! I'm really beginning to lose patience with facebook - feel like i can't be bothered with the constant changes! Gripe - gripe!

But hey, I have another question - I see Katrina and Myra and others show when they upload to FLickr. I also have the Flickr application installed on FB, but I am not sure if it shows the same on my profile when I upload?? Could anyone verify this?? Please?

I'm with you, Mel! I can't click through FB like I used to and can't find what I want anymore and it's frustrating. I think FB has changed 4 or 5 times in the year I've been on there and I don't get why! It was fine how it was...leave it alone!!

Mine still seems to be working fine but I haven't been using the Friends tab. I use the Home tab and have the News Feed selected at the left side.

Thanks Heather, that was my feeling. Does anyone know how to set it up so that it WILL show when I upload to FLickr?

I think the Facebook changes can take a bit of time to get applied to everyone, so maybe ours will change too, I'm now not sure sometimes if something has changed, or if I just haven't noticed it before lol.

I had to go into my flickr settings and there was a selection to link it to my facebook account =)

I got stalked on twitter - by a random strange man who lived near me but I didnt know. it was abit scary. so I ran away from it and never went back. I guess I blog more than the average person so I must be doing it that way!! LOL

Sorry, I am in bed today with the phone so don't have facebook fully accessible. At the top of your facebook there should be a home tab. On it, on the left side is a place to have applications. My top one is called news feed. There is also photos, flicks, videos... You should be able to edit that & its order. Whatever your top one is should be the default of what you see when you log in. There should also be options as to what you want included in the updates but I haven't played with that.

You have to go to your "home" page....On the left hand side on the top there is a new spot they put it. Its says: School, news feed, photos, links? You can click on there for your friends updates now instead of the recently updated button. I know, it is really frustrating that the keep changing it. I had a heck of a time trying to add someone to my limited profile the other day, maybe worth not even adding those type of people lol.
Anyway maybe you already have it figured out, but it there, just on the home page now

Hey Aino - I set my Flickr feed up awhile ago, but I directed it to just read from one set. And every time I add to my POTD set, it updates automatically. Does that help?

ahhh you see, NOW I can do it. I always thought the 'home' page meant home as in facebooks main page. maybe I"m older than I think, this is all getting hard work!!!
