Friday Afternoon Time Killer
My husband sent me this email with steps to randomly generate an album cover.
Here are the steps: 1 - Go to "wikipedia." Hit “random... Read More... Read More” or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. 2 - Go to "Random quotations" or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3 The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. Tip: you may need to click "New Random Quotatations" near the bottom of the page. I kept getting the same quotes with the above link, and you all would have an album the same title as mine. 3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover. Ctrl-click (right-click) the image to save it to your desktop. 4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together. 5 - Go to File > Save for Web, and change the quality until the image size is under 90K. 6 - When posting in this thread, "Go Advanced" and click the paper clip icon to attach the image you created. No need to host the image on another site. Here's mine:

I really drooled when this picture came up third. I added the background red paper. You have to be really deep and cool to understand the title of my album though!
- It says "let's start with the typewriters" Oo and I also learned how to post a pic here and not in the gallery - how neat!

Crazy little activity - but surely lots of fun - I can't imagine I would ever buy an album by a band of this name but who would have thought I would buy an album by a band called "The Fray" so who knows!
