Question Paper Scrapper goes digital question

I have always been a paper scrapper and have fell in love with what I can accomplish with digital scrapping. Here's my question...Do all of you print your pages? If so do you make books as with Shutterfly or just print them at home and create your own album? not sure how to go about using mine. Thanks for your input

I have a few made Shutterfly books. It just comes out a whole lot cheaper that way and I am very happy with the quality of the books

Hi, Janette,

I haven't actually put together a whole book yet. I make my layouts 12x12 so that I can someday put them together into a Shutterfly 12x12 book. For now, though, I print a few favorite layouts 8x8 on my home printer and then put them into 8x8 albums or into a set of 8x8 frames I have hanging on my office wall.

I used to print them, but I just bought my first Shutterfly book. I love how it looks and feels! It was surprisingly (to me, anyway!) cheaper when you consider what you'd spend for paper, ink, albums, and page protectors! My books are all 8x8.

I have made one book, but usually I print them at 8 x 8 and put them in page protectors in an album. I have printed at home, but I usually print at Costco.

I've made several books thanks to coupons available here for Shutterfly and the likes, but the shipping to Europe makes them rather expensive, so I tend to print at home. And I do a fair amount of hybrid so printing at home becomes very necessary - because I'm far too impatient to wait for delivery from an online store!

I have had books printed at Shutterfly, but I also have layouts printed at scrapbooksplease.com - They are $1.99 for standard matte, nothing fancy, but nice enough. Shutterfly books are by far the best, I think.

I've printed mine at home but am going to have an album made at Shutterfly for my Dec. daily pages.

I print 8x8 at home for single layouts and use Shutterfly books for bigger projects.

I really like the Shutterfly books. The quality is fabulous and it's nice to have it bound.

I am addicted to Shutterfly Janette - I just love the quality & the professional look to the book. People are always amazed when they see the completed book. I did a mini book that I printed from home for my hubby & it is just not the same. It was so much work & doesn't have the same wow factor that Shutterfly does.

I agree with Kayleigh, Shutterfly books have a wow factor that individual pages in page protectors don't have. I've printed some of my pages for the GK's because they like to look at themselves-have put those in page protectors!

I do a combination of both. I print all of my pages at home and put them in page protectors. I also make SF albums for special occasions/gifts. It's also on my to-do list to make a bound book of just random photos from the year so my kids can look through them the way I love to look through the old photo albums from my childhood.

I now print albums of my pages through Shutterfly. I love how they turn out.

I used to print every single LO at home and keep in albums until I discovered Shutterfly.

WOW, I never imagined so many replies. Looks like I will be visiting shutterfly when I get enough pages together. Thanks to all

Shutterfly all the way. Those books are beautiful -- and so much more compact than regular scrapbook albums

I do books and pages. I do a lot of 2 pages layouts and like to print, cut in half and put on my albums. Books are wonderful but sometimes people think they designed the pages for you, but when they see the pages on regular scrapbook albums they go: wooooww!!! HOW DID YOU DO THAT? I have a big basket on my living room so when friends and family come over they love to sit and go through the pages. They always ask for more!

I am now officially addicted to Shutterfly, but I do occasionally print at home and frame a couple.

I like to use shutterfly every once in a while to put together books of pages I especially want to remember, but what I do most often is send a link to my gallery online to family and/or friends when I want to share a page I made that would be relevant to them.
