Default I'm a Newbie

Hello Everyone, I am a newbie to the digital scrapbooking community and have just finished my first four pages. I am absolutely in love with digital. I was finding I was getting more and more behind scrapbooking the regular way with paper, embellishments and all things you need, I'm finding with digital I get just the effect I want at a much lower cost. When you are trying to scrapbook for yourself, your 3 children and 9 grandchildren you need the thing that makes life easiest. So happy to be here.

Welcome! It's always so much fun to see someone come over to the dark side. Yes, the main motivating factor for me to convert from paper to digital was the financial side of it and the clutter effect. I was tired of my only table being covered in cut-up paper, photos, and hundreds of the backing paper for photo splits (adhesive). Nothing like it. I love digital---in fact, my last paper book is only half-finished and will stay that way until I depart this world.

I, too, was a paper scrapper until about three and a half years ago. Like Jen, I've never looked back. Digital is the way to go, and DD is my home. We're glad to have you here!

Welcome! Another converted paper scrapper here. I often wish I'd jumped straight in to digi and skipped the whole paper stage (and a whole lot of mess and money!)!

Welcome to the digi world! I was a scrapping-virgin til I entered via the digital way! It's hard to imagine doing it with all that NON-reusable product in the paper world!

Hi there - I'm another new DD convert. I haven't made any pages yet but have been adding things to my wishlist here at DD (GREAT feature) and then I check it every day and if something is one sale, I buy it. I'm in the process of boxing up all of my scrapping supplies and plan on selling them, and then what I don't sell, I am donating to a friend's children's department at her church. Once I get past the holidays, it's full force ahead with digital scrapbooking. I've been looking at all the awesome layouts posted here for inspiration!

Welcome!!

Great to have you here! You'll love digital - so much quicker and less mess = more pages of those children and grandchildren :-)

Welcome pierek11, (and Brenda) I was a die hard paper scrapper and am totally digi now, for a couple of years. I was more of a lurker before too, (until I built up my stash) and finally finding some time to scrap and post.

Have fun girls, its the best digi place on the web!
