Default Hi UK Scrapper here!
Hello

I am fairly new to this scrapping. tried a few years back, but had issues with photoshop etc and lost the will to live LOL

I have now bought a software programme called craft artist and finding this much more to my liking. ( the issue with photoshop is my pc)

Due to the recession etc xmas is a "homemade" xmas. Home made hampers for everyone love cooking! and for my two girls aged 27yrs and 28yrs i am going to make digital scrapbooks into photo books telling the story of their lives so far. So I am really looking forward to this journey.

I am busy trying to collect free downloads and saving the sites that have the papers etc that I really like and want to use. My girls have travelled a lot so looking for Australia, Europe, the far east etc.

I am sure I am going to ask lots of stupid questions like " cant find my download"?? which is my issue at the moment however that is for another day.

Welcome! I too think your Christmas presents will be wonderful this year! Have a look out for your fellow Brit, Britgirl above, who does a great series on digital Christmas gifts! Very inspiring!

btw, I understand your frustration with PS. I had that one first and found it impossible to learn on my own, esp before I found DD, one of the few sites that had almost real time answers to my questions. I quickly switched to PSE4 and was on my way.

Does your software allow you to use digital products?

Hi and welcome to DD and your Christmas gifts sound fantastic... There is a freebie section here that you can download quotes and templates and paper and a few accessories. There are also kits that have about 10 different sheets of paper and assorted embellishments and usually an alpabet and are pretty reasonably priced and can be used over and over to your hearts content. There is a sale every week on Thursday... check it may be Friday in the UK due to timing... and new stuff comes out every weekend... also on sale. THe gallery will have lots of ideas of pages to inspire you. Best of luck on your project!
