Default Hi from ND
I have been browsing here for quite awhile, but just registered in July...I did paper scrapping for about 12 years and then jumped into Digital a couple years ago...I don't think I will ever go back to paper. I do make cards and paper crafts too tho so don't feel quite so guilty about all the paper stash I have.

I am married (45 yrs)...have a son here and daughter in Wa...three grandsons here and 2 in Wa...3 kitty kids. I have a Home Daycare which has evolved over the years (38 to be exact) into a befor and after school DC...only 3 hours a day so not even a real job,,,,just enough to support my addictions...can never have too much scrapping supplies!

I make cards and painted on anything that would stand still long enough befor The computer took over my life...would like to paint again someday....................Maybe. I love to read and collect just about everything....angels, snowmen, music boxes, Snow Globes...and of course Digi everything.

I met Kathy02 this summer when she came to Minot to help my sister evacuate for the flood....A TRUE Angel on Earth!!! We were so surprised to find our shared interest in Digi Scrapping..Had such a good time under very tough conditions that day.

Welcome to DD, Carol -- so glad you found us, and I look forward to seeing your pages in the gallery. Isn't Kathie a jewel? I was a paper scrapper for 11 years before switching to digital three years ago -- I've never looked back and gave all my paper supplies to my nephew's wife. Haven't manage to convert her yet!

I loved reading about your craft interests, especially the conversion to digital scrapping, Carol, because after a lifetime of enjoying crafts and different hobbies I am totally devoted to digi, too. How wonderful you could meet Kathie (aka kathie02) and discover your common interest. She has a heart of gold, doesn't she? So glad you introduced yourself. I live in your neighboring state to the east of you (Minnesota) and I am a grandma to 3 grandsons, all who live close by. I'll be watching for your postings in our gallery and in our forum. Kathy was really amazing!! They gave their time and muscle to help someone they did not even know...They are friends of my nieces guy...and it was her mom we were evacuating. Kathy is definitly a very special person...isn't it a blessing when you meet someone like that?? Makes you realize even the most tragic of events always have a positive side if you just watch for them.

Welcome to DD...I am a neighbor of yours to the West. I live in Montana and have wanted to meet Kathie02!! She does seem like a wonderful spirit!! I was a paper scrapper for 31 years...before jumping to digital around 2007. This is a wonderful community that shows support, inspiration and commraderie! ND eh? Lived in Dickinson for about a year and a half....I was in third grade then...OMG...it was cold...but it was great being able to go ice skating after school...cept for my sister getting frost bite on her cheeks....anyways... WELCOME!! You will love it here! Isn't this group GREAT!!! Beautiful cat!!

Hi Carol! ND is one of the few states still on my bucket list to complete the whole bunch! You'll be happy here; it's a great friendly place and the gallery is a wonderful inspiration as you know. You need to get your digi-grandma button up some day! There are a bunch of us here!
