Default Hello from West Australia

Hello everyone, I have recently started to scrapbook digitally and am enjoying the learning curve but finding it very steep! I find I get quite overwhelmed with knowing the effect I want but not knowing how to put it together but I do realise it will take lots of practise! I am starting out quite simply so as not to confuse myself too much!
I find the ability to download scrapping paraphernalia is very tempting as I live in a very small mining town with no LSS to shop at!!
I look forward to being a part of this forum.
Julia

Welcome from me on the other side of the continent, Julia! There is so much inspiration here, it can be daunting, but scraplifting is a fun way to copy a look, and knowing that the products are usually all here in the shop makes it easier to achieve. Cassie has some great tutorials in the store that you can follow to achieve a specific look you're after. But don't be too daunted. We're ALL on a learning curve!

Good morning, Julia! I love your first rule of thumb . . . I am still using that as my mantra too. The digital scrapping can be confusing at first, but when you learn one thing it ends up leading to another and another success for you and digi! I know that you will love Designer Digitals . . . it is such a helpful and inspiring site and the forums are such great places to ask questions and just enjoy hanging out. You can click on the "Getting Started" tab on the purple tool bar at the top of this page for great help with many questions too. Lots of great gals here . . . and we have loads of friends from Australia here.
