Making the plunge finally
Hi everyone. I've been a lurker for a long time but am finally going to start digi scrapping and bought a whole bunch of stuff from the store today so am ready to start this wkend.
I've been a paper scrapper for yrs but with a busier schedule it just makes sense to me to really give digi a go. I love that I don't have to pull everything out and then put it away again! I think I'll still create my cards but maybe they'll be more hybrid ones now. I'm going to sell off a bunch of my scrapbook supplies which will go a long way towards buying more digi stuff later. I uploaded PSE to my old laptop and am excited to be able to digi scrap while away most wkends at our trailer in Washington. I photo edit with CS4 on my PC but b/c of the oldness of my laptop I thought it would be better load the old PSE (takes up less space on harddrive than CS4 I'm thinking) that I got as a freebie with my wacom tablet before (haven't used that yet but today bought the ebook here to help me get started on that too). Hopefully elements won't be too difficult to get the hang of. I'm taking my laptop with me for the long wkend at our trailer and hope to get a few LOs completed. I'm going to start reading the PSE book I just got too while away. There's lot of info and inspiration here. I think I'm going to like this digi stuff!

I'm so glad you're joining us having fun with this digital hobby. I always love it when someone says they've been lurking and just now are joining in more actively. I lurked for a year, myself, before I dared post or say anything in a forum. Once, I got used to posting it made the hobby all the more fun, so, BIG WELCOME to you!

Hello!! You are going to just love digi! I found elements pretty easy to learn - and I'm no computer buff! You must check out Cassie Jones' tutorials in the shop too. Thay are so easy to follow and you get a lot of supplies with them that, of course, you can use over and over! The cool thing is that after following each lesson you have a completed page!!

Yay for going digital!! Welcome and you will love it. I was a paper scrapper for about 7 years and then tried digital about 2 1/2 years ago and never looked back. You will love it here and there is just so much inspiration in the gallery. Can't wait to see some of your pages. Hope you will share them with us.

HI!! You're gonna love digi scrapping . . I only started it as practice for paper scrapping, 6 years later and I've never looked back - and never done a traditional page!! Ah well. I love that I can stop and start as I like, no mess and NO KIDS GETTING INTO MY SCRAPPING GOODIES!!! What more can you ask? lol

Welcome! This is the best digi community around. I was a paper scrapper for years, then decided to give digi a shot. I was hooked and never touched my paper supplies again. I ended up hanging onto them and then finally donating the to my church (tax write off!) about ten months later. I don't miss paper at all.
