Creating a Signature
- Click on USER CP on the menu bar above the first thread.
- Click EDIT SIGNATURE in the menu on the left.
- Enter any information you would like to have in your signature in the text box. You can adjust the font size, color, boldness, etc. using the tools in the window.
- To enter a link to your gallery, open another window to your DD gallery and copy the URL. Then click the button for Hyperlink (a globe with a chain link by it). When prompted, paste your URL in the window and click okay. It will automatically insert a code with a part of it highlighted. Replace the highlighted text with the words “My Gallery” (or anything you’d like it to say). If you accidentally click off the highlighted portion, it’s the URL text between the first close ] and the third [
- If you wish to add an image to your signature, you will first have to create the image and save it to an online image site like www.photobucket.com. It’s free, and it will provide the proper URL code for adding it to your signature. Once it’s uploaded to the online server, you can copy the URL for your image from that site, then click the Image button (yellow square w/mountain icon) and paste your image url when prompted. It will create a line of code just like it did for your gallery link, but this one will be an IMG instead of a URL.
