Default Help please..

Hi, I have been scrapping for a long time but I would like to start using some digi downloads on my paper projects. I love the stuff I see here at the site. What I need help with is, now that I have downloaded one of the free ones (Thanks!), And I find it on my computer I can view it but I don't know how to use it from there. I have windows vista if you need to know that. When I click open it pulls it up like it would a photo, but I can't do anything else with it.

I am sure I am just missing something but I have no idea what it is.. I am not a complete computer idiot but I don't get it all either. I also have adobe photoshop elements 6.0.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It might help if I tell you that I want to be able to print the elements out, not, at this time, create a digi layout.

Hi, Tammie.

If you just want to print the elements, you can open Photoshop Elements and go to File > Open. Locate the file you downloaded and click Open. You can print from within PSE.

If you check the "Getting Started" link at the top of the page, there's a walk through of how to create a quick page. I know you're not creating a page, but it will give you an idea of how to work with the software.

I hope this helps.

Did you "unzip" it first? Right click and choose Extract All.

And welcome!!

With Vista all you have to do is copy or drag the files out of the zipped folder to unzip it. I have a folder I drag all my downloaded files to and then sort from there.
