Default Cassie's Tutorials:LIAO:Laser Cuts and Drop Shadows & Creating a Sketch from a Photo

If you are curious about how to learn digital scrapping, then you might want to explore these threads about Cassie's wonderful tutorials. Many of us have benefited greatly from her fine teaching and this is a way for us to show you what we have learned. If you click on the image of each tutorial it will take you to the store and the page for the item. The companion threads for her other tutorials can be found here in the How To section of the Forums.

And each of Cassie's tutorials includes a fabulous mini kit from Katie Pertiet with just the right materials to create the lesson.

If you've made pages using either of these tutorials, feel free to share them here in a reply. If you have comments about the tutorials, please write a review in the store. It takes a day to go through the admin process so it will show up later.

Thanks for helping. Enjoy the learning.

Question Question @Laser Cut Tutorial

This tutorial looks great! I see that you get the smile and beauty png with the kit. But do you learn how to make your own words with the technique so that you can do different words? Thanks. I'm thinking of getting it while it's on sale.

You learn the technique to take anything you want - a word you make using a font of your choice, a wordart png, a hipster plume, an outline of anything and laser cut it.

They are uploaded on Saturday evenings along with the other new products. I don't have one every single weekend, so you just have to keep your eyes peeled.

You can see the newest ones by going to the shop and then clicking "Cassie Jones" under the "Search by Designers" list on the left. Then click twice on "Date Added" to sort them with the most recent product first.

stealing this thread, Cassie,....I just purchased and viewed your video on actions. Very well done. What's the diff in saving for putting on the web as you did and CS4...saving for the web? I'm not talking about the technicalities of doing either, just the end results....if you change the size from 3600 to 700 when you "save for web"...will that get the same results as your method? Does that make sense?
